What is a reminder call?
A reminder call is a scheduled phone call designed to get your attention at a specific time. Instead of relying only on a push notification, Ringback places a call to the verified phone number on your account and reads your personal reminder.
When phone call reminders are useful
Reminder calls can be useful for appointments, deadlines, errands, pet-care routines, events, and recurring tasks — especially when an ordinary notification is easy to overlook.
Call-only use is supported
You do not have to opt in to recurring SMS messages to use Ringback for call reminders. Account verification can be completed by voice call, and call reminders remain available without text-message consent.
Retry until you answer
You can choose up to five call attempts and set the interval between attempts. Ringback stops the retry chain when a person answers. Voicemail is skipped on earlier attempts and the reminder is left on voicemail on the final attempt when voicemail is detected. Connected retry attempts are billed as calls; attempts that never connect are not charged.
